Ombre Powder Brows

Ombre powder brows creates a powdery faded front with a crisp tail, resembling the look of makeup. Powder brows are less invasive, less painful, and heals more naturally than microblading. It is suitable for all skin types. Pigment retention can last up to 3 years before needing a touch up. A 6-8 touch up may be necessary for some clients.

The difference between Ombre Powder Brows & Microblading:

Ombre powder brows are achieved using a rotary tattoo machine that uses needles to deposit extremely fine dots of pigment into the skin using a shading technique. Microblading uses a hand tool that consists of a small group of needles to create small cuts or incisions into the skin in order to create hair- like strokes. Microblading causes more trauma to the skin since it is more invasive and requires cutting into the same spot repeatedly, making it more likely to cause scarring. Microblading s not suitable for all skin types. Over time, the fine, hair-like strokes will blur out (won’t stay sharp and fine) eventually, especially if you have oily skin. This can lead to a "solid" tattoo that may require correction work in the future. Keep in mind that not all previous work can be corrected and may require a tattoo removal.

Nano Brows

Nano brows are a newer brow technique that involves tattooing realistic, fluffy, hairlike strokes using a machine 🌟 How is this different from microblading? Read below ⬇️

𝐍𝐚𝐧𝗼 𝐯𝐬 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐫𝗼𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠: Microblading is done using a hand tool & a grouping of needles. This hand tool is used to make cuts in the skin & ink will be set into the cuts. This technique is not suitable for all skin types (caters more to clients with dry skin), and has a high chance of causing scarring. Since any brow tattoo usually involves working over the same spot multiple time, they will be cutting into the same cut over & over again- leading to scarring. It also doesn’t have a good reputation for healed results as the hair- like strokes tend to blur out & become thick over time (I can attest to this since I have microblading myself)  Nano brows are done using a machine like we use for ombré powder brows! The machine we use works by moving the needle in & out of the machine, creating little dots called “pixels”. This technique does NOT involve making cuts in the skin. We work very superficial & create hair- like strokes by drawing very thin lines in the brow area. It’s suitable for all skin types & since we are not implanting the ink deep into the skin like microblading, we don’t have to worry about the ink spreading & becoming thick/ blurry lines over time!
